Political Issues, Bahrain Still Hold Races

Previously, Bahrain GP F1 which was originally a series opener, last march, should be canceled because the atmosphere is not conductive to following the political upheavals that occurred in Bahrain. For the incident, the future of Bahrain F1 GP was a gray, even threatened not held at this year's competition.

For the fans
of F1 GP in Bahrain finally could breathe and watch event following FIA decision that ultimately allow Sakhir circuit to host F1 races this season.

However, in a meeting that was held together with World Motors Sports Council (WMSC), Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Bahrain Motors Federation and the Bahrain International circuit on Friday in Barcelona, the FIA finally gave the green to race in Bahrain to hold this year.

"After considering all the factors and consider the concerns of all stakeholder, WMSC finally agreed to return the Bahrain GP 2011 in the F1 calendar this year. "the FIA statement as quoted by Autosports Saturday (06/04/2011)

"This decision reflects the spirit of reconciliation in Bahrain, and other forms the Government and all major parties in Bahrain, including the largest opposition group, who all support the F1 GP, continued the statement.

In this decision, the FIA has not set a date will be the holding of Bahrain F1 GP. However, according to the news that below, Bahrain F1 GP will be held on October 30, 2011. That means, India F1 GP series will be a series of cover which will be held on 4 December or 11 December. F1 competition this season will be the longest since 1963
