Ex Chelsea and Ajax Amsterdam had already managed to bring FC Copenhagen won the Danish domestic title this season.
Together with FC Copenhagen, Gronkjaer has 166 appearances since joining in 2006. Previously he was grazing with Ajax Amsterdam, Chelsea, Birmingham City, Atletico Madrid and VfB Stuttgart.
Gronkjaer also has 80 caps with the Danish national team before deciding to retirement after 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
